Authors: REG NO: BQ0121005
Abstract: Introduction – Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental
disorder which is common in children and adolescents. It is common to find SPD in children
and adolescents with ADHD, which affects their normal functioning, behaviour and have
adverse developmental consequences. Parenting a kid with comorbid ADHD and sensory
difficulties can be challenging, and affects the quality of life in primary caregivers. Limited
studies have been done to assess these sensory processing difficulties in children with ADHD.
Objective – The primary objective of this study was is to assess prevalence of Sensory
Processing Difficulties (SPD) in children and adolescents having ADHD. We also examined
the association between SPD and subtypes of ADHD, association between SPD and global
functioning , and quality of life in primary caregivers of these subjects

Authors: REG NO: BQ0121004
Abstract: BACKGROUND: Cancer is a growing public health issue across the world, but the mental health consequences in this setting have not been well-characterized. Literature from several countries clearly confirms that patients with cancer have higher rates of depression and anxiety than the general population and results in greater morbidity and poorer cancer related outcomes. In India, even though there were studies done for assessment of depression and anxiety among cancer patients, studies to determine the specific factors associated with prevalence of anxiety and depression in cancer patients were not satisfactory. Therefore, we have conducted the following study to assess the prevalence of depression and anxiety and also determine the factors that contribute to the same in cancer patients. OBJECTIVES: Primary objective: Estimation of prevalence of depression among cancer patients.
Secondary objectives: a). Estimation of prevalence of anxiety among cancer patients.
b). Association between socio-demographic and clinical variables with depression and anxiety.

Authors: REG NO: BQ0121003
Abstract: Background: The postpartum period, often called the “fourth trimester”, is vital yet often
overlooked. Most mother and infant fatalities happen during this time. This period is also
frequently associated with psychiatric illnesses such postpartum depression, PTSD, and
psychosis. Post-partum depression is relatively well researched, however, the literature
pertaining to post-partum anxiety is sparse- especially in India. The limited data available states
prevalence of post-partum anxiety to be as high as 25-30%. Another frequently experienced
problem by post-partum women, yet overlooked, is that of disturbed sleep. As high as 60-70% of
new mothers may have significantly impaired sleep. Numerous studies have concluded that
disrupted sleep patterns could increase the risk of mood and anxiety problems in mothers.
Objectives:
Primary Objective: Estimation of prevalence of anxiety in post-partum mothers.
Secondary Objective: a) Assessment of Quality of Sleep in post-partum mothers.
b) Association between various socio-demographic, clinical
variables and anxiety.
c) Association between various socio-demographic, clinical

Authors: REG NO: BQ0121002
Abstract: Introduction: Acute and transient psychotic disorders (ATPDs) are characterized by the abrupt
onset of psychotic symptoms within a two-week period, often triggered by stressors, and
typically resolve within a few months. Despite their clinical significance, the prevalence of
ATPD in the general population is not well-defined. Previous studies have shown varying
symptom presentations, emphasizing the need for further investigation into ATPD's clinical
features and diagnostic subtypes.
Objectives
1. To describe the symptomatology and phenomenology in patients of acute and transient
psychotic disorder.
2. To describe the diagnostic subtypes of ATPD.
