Title: To study the role of umbilical artery pulsatility index (pi) as a Predictor of perinatal outcome In growth restricted fetus
Authors: REG.NO: BJ0121019
Abstract: Background: Doppler ultrasound of fetal vessels play a crucial role for diagnosing
and managing fetal growth restriction. It helps to identify fetal compromise early and
predict adverse perinatal outcomes in childbirth.
Aim: To study the role of pulsatility index (PI) of umbilical artery doppler in
prediction of adverse perinatal outcomes in fetuses diagnosed as FGR

Injection carbetocin vs Injection oxytocin in reduction Of postpartum blood loss in Caesarean section- a randomized Controlled trial.

Title: Injection carbetocin vs Injection oxytocin in reduction Of postpartum blood loss in Caesarean section- a randomized Controlled trial.
Authors: REG.NO:BJ0121018
Abstract: Introduction: Postpartum haemorrhage is one of the leading causes of maternal
mortality, accounting for 35% of maternal deaths worldwide. The focal point of
prevention of PPH is the use of uterotonic drugs immediately after birth of new born.
Oxytocin is most widely accepted uterotonic agent and standard therapy for the
prevention of postpartum haemorrhage over years.
Use of Heat Stable Carbetocin is also recommended and has added advantages. Major
advantage of Heat Stable Carbetocin is that formulation is heat stable and useful in
countries where cold chain is unreliable.
Objective:
1. To find out effectiveness of Inj. Oxytocin vs Inj. Heat Stable Carbetocin in reduction of
postpartum blood loss in caesarean section

Prediction of neonatal acidemia at birth With intrapartum total deceleration area On fetal cardiotocogram – a one year case Control study

Title: Prediction of neonatal acidemia at birth With intrapartum total deceleration area On fetal cardiotocogram – a one year case Control study
Authors: REG.NO: BJ0121017
Abstract: Aims & Objectives: In recent times there is a global rise in the rate of cesarean
deliveries, fetal distress being second most common indication. The diagnosis of fetal
distress is based on fetal cardiotocography findings during labour. This study aims to
analyse the intrapartum total deceleration area on fetal cardiotocogram which will
predict neonatal acidaemia at birth.

Inj.Oxytocin 10IU IM Vs Inj. Oxytocin 5IU IM + Inj.Methyl Ergometrine 0.2mg IM Vs Inj.Carbetocin 100mcg IM during AMTSL In vaginal Deliveries – A Randomized Controlled Trial

Title: Inj.Oxytocin 10IU IM Vs Inj. Oxytocin 5IU IM + Inj.Methyl Ergometrine 0.2mg IM Vs Inj.Carbetocin 100mcg IM during AMTSL In vaginal Deliveries – A Randomized Controlled Trial
Authors: Reg.No: BJ0121016
Abstract: Background –
Obstetric haemorrhage is one of the leading cause of (mainly (PPH) Post Partum
Hemorrhage) of maternal mortality, accounting for 35% of maternal deaths
worldwide (WHO). In order to achieve SDG goal of 70 prevention of PPH is
essential.
Inj Syntometrine (Inj Oxytocin 5IU + Inj Methyl ergometrine 0.5mg) is superior
to other uterotonics, with significant side effects mainly due to the higher dose of
Inj Methyl Ergometrine. The current study is undertaken with same combination
as in Syntometrine but with a lower dose of Inj.Methyl ergometrine of 0.2mg to
find out the effectiveness with other uterotonics (Inj.Oxytocin 10IU and
Inj.Carbetocin 100mcg).
Aims and Objectives –
Primary objective - To compare the effectiveness of the 3 uterotonics which helps in
reducing post-partum blood loss.
Secondary objective – To assess the requirement of additional uterotonics in
management of post-partum bleeding.
