Abstract: ABSTRACT Background: Menopause is the most prominent event occurring during the middle age of women and represents the end of a woman’s reproductive life. Perimenopause symptoms are the bases for healthcare providers and public health personnel to enable appropriate healthcare, including improving the physiological and psychological makeup of women. Objective: To study age at menopause along with its health consequences and socio- economic determinants affecting the quality of life.
