| Abstract: | ABSTRACT BPAD is a lifelong intricate and heterogeneous mood disorder which is also known as grievous mental illness due to repeated occurrence of an overcast of mood with lesser energy (depression),euphoric mood with elevated energy and activity (manic & hypo-manic), cyclothymic,dysthymic and mixed episodic interval of longer and shorter duration with 0.3-1.2% prevalence. The BPAD impairs the QOL & MA of patients by changes in mood; personal suffering; troubled family support and irregular socio-economic functioning as well as BPAD have a long-term therapy hence the patients are most vulnerable to DRPs.
