Introduction: Crown-root angulation or collum angle is the angle between long axis of the crown and long axis of the root. It is more commonly observed in the maxillary incisors in Class II division 2 malocclusion. Along with the various dentoskeletal problems presented in a Class II/2 malocclusion, the retroclined maxillary incisors appear to be of concern as they are the most prominent teeth in the mouth. Orthodontic treatment is most often performed in such cases, wherein there is change in inclination of the maxillary incisors. The positional change after orthodontic treatment in maxillary central incisors with collum angle with the maxilla is not significantly understood. Thus, in this study we aim to: 1. Assess collum angle in pre- and post- treatment cephalograms in subjects presenting with Class I malocclusion. 2. Assess collum angle in pre- and post- treatment cephalograms in subjects presenting with Class II div 1 malocclusion. 3. Assess collum angle in pre- and post- treatment cephalograms in subjects presenting with Class II div 2 malocclusion. 4. Determine using cephalometric measures, the position of root of the maxillary central incisor in respect to the maxilla in each of the three groups. 5. Determine using cephalometric measures, the position of the crown of the maxillary central incisor in respect to the maxilla in each of the three groups.en_US
