Abstract: Background: Disseminated Intravascular coagulation (DIC) Is a consumptive coagulopathy responsible for almost a quarter of all maternal deaths. The etiological factors of DIC are most of the times are preventable causes. This study is conducted to analyse the causes of DIC at a tertiary care centre.
