Abstract: AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. To correlate bone mineral density with serum homocysteine levels. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A one year cross - sectional study was conducted in the Department of Orthopaedics, KLEs Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital and MRC, Belagavi. 80 patients presenting to OPD / IPD of Department of Orthopaedics, fulfilling the inclusion and exclusion criteria were enrolled in the study. After getting a written informed consent, the patients were subjected to DEXA scan and Serum Homocysteine levels.
