Abstract: INTRODUCTION Acne scarring is a major cause of disfiguring scars over face. It causes not only cosmetic issues but also psychological problems. There is no standard treatment for acne scars. Various therapeutic modalities have been found efficacious, among which laser therapy is a major treatment option. Platelet rich plasma has been long used as an adjuvant along with fractional carbon dioxide laser for the treatment of post acne scars. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES To compare the effectiveness and safety of combined use of platelet rich plasma and fractional carbon dioxide laser against fractional carbon dioxide laser alone in the treatment of acne scars.
