| Abstract: | CONTEXT: Epidural anaesthesia is the most popular method for providing peri-operative anaesthesia and postoperative analgesia for lower abdomen and limb surgeries. There are fewer direct studies contrasting ropivacaine and levobupivacaine with buprenorphine adjuvant, hence we took this study. AIMS: Comparison of onset of action of sensory and motor block and the duration of action of buprenorphine with levobupivacaine and buprenorphine with ropivacaine and to compare hemodynamic effects of drugs. |
