| Abstract: | Aim: To assess the antimicrobial efficacy of Cinnamon bark oil (Cinnamomum verum), Cajeput oil (Melaleuca leucadendron), their combination and Chlorhexidine gluconate against the standard strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis and Candida albicans. Objectives: To determine the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) of Cinnamon oil, Cajeput oil and their combination against standard strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis and Candida albicans. To evaluate and compare the antimicrobial efficacy of Cinnamon oil, Cajeput oil and their combination with chlorhexidine against standard strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis and Candida albicans. |
