| Abstract: | Background: Doxorubicin (DOX) is an extensively utilised chemotherapy drug, oxidative stress caused by it can damage the heart, liver, and kidneys. Theobroma cacao L. (cocoa) is reported to possess protective efficacy against several chemical- induced organ damages and also anticancer activity. The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of cocoa extract (COE) on doxorubicin-induced organ damage in mice with Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC) by employing in silico, in vitro, and in vivo studies. Objective: 1. To assess protective activity of cocoa against Doxorubicin induced organ toxicities (Heart, Liver and Kidney) in a mouse bearing ascites & solid tumor 2. To assess Cytotoxic activity of Doxorubicin in combination with cocoa in a mouse bearing ascites & solid tumor |
