| Abstract: | BACKGROUND Striae distensae can be disfiguring and psychologically upsetting to patients even though they have no symptoms at all. Hence it is worthwhile assessing the DLQI in these patients and thus might provide insight into patients psyche, improving patient-physician relationship, therefore, leading to better compliance and treatment outcome.
