Abstract: Introduction: Osteoporosis is characterized by low bone mass, microarchitectural disruption, and increased skeletal fragility, resulting in decreased bone strength and increased risk of fracture. Zoledronic acid is a bisphosphonate which can be given once in a year IV, has better patient compliance and good clinical efficacy compared to other oral bisphosphonates.
