N: Alcohol abuse has increasingly become a significant public health concern among both youth and adults. There is currently limited research in India comparing hematological parameters between alcoholics and non-alcoholics. Detecting early changes in hematological parameters among chronic alcoholics and providing timely counseling and treatment for alcohol dependence can mitigate future complications associated with alcoholism, ultimately reducing morbidity and mortality rates. The objective of our study is to study the hematological manifestations among alcoholics based on the quantity and duration of alcohol intake and compare them with the non-alcoholics to the patients admitted to Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital and MRC, Belagavi.en_US
