dc.description.abstractBackground: Diabetes micro vascular complications such as diabetic retinopathy, diabetic neuropathy and renal complications are among the important causes of mortality and morbidity among patients diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and results in significant healthcare and overall economic burden. The triglyceride glucose Index (TyG Index), is a key indicator of insulin resistance. It is associated with cardiovascular diseases and Type 2 diabetes mellitus. The objective was to evaluate the relationship between Triglyceride Glucose index and microvascular complications of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.en_US
