| Abstract: | Introduction: This study aimed to discover preoperative risk factors for significant postoperative pain because postoperative discomfort is a prevalent cause of delayed mobilization and patient dissatisfaction in orthopedic surgeries. Patients and Methods: 197 orthopedic surgery patients who gave their consent over the course of a year were admitted, operated on, and had their postoperative discomfort evaluated. Preoperative predictors of severe postoperative pain were evaluated using a standardized questionnaire with 20 characteristics that included medical history, surgical specifics, and demographics and patients were asked to mark their postoperative pain using VAS (Visual Analog Scale) Score. |
