| Abstract: | Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is marked by declining kidney function and high mortality rates, particularly in India. It predominantly affects lower socio-demographic regions. Routine blood tests, including hemogram and inflammatory markers, can provide costeffective prognostic benefits. Objectives: To evaluate neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and monocyte-lymphocyte ratio (MLR) or lymphocyte-monocyte ratio (LMR) as a biomarker to assess the severity of inflammation in different stages of CKD and to study the pattern of NLR, PLR, MLR in different types of CKDs |
