| Abstract: | Background & objectives: Tissue sampling of the gastrointestinal tract during endoscopy is the mainstay of many gastrointestinal diagnoses. Histopathological examination of the endoscopic biopsies obtained from the upper gastrointestinal tract helps in providing an accurate diagnosis. The main objective is to study the histopathological spectrum of upper gastrointestinal endoscopic biopsies and correlate it with endoscopic findings of the same. |
