Abstract: Background: Movement disorders in children represent a complex spectrum of neurological abnormalities manifesting as hyperkinetic, or hypokinetic movements. Often linked to basal ganglia dysfunction, these disorders stem from diverse etiologies, including genetic, metabolic, or acquired factors. Despite their clinical and socioeconomic burden, data on pediatric movement disorders, particularly from resource-limited regions, remain sparse. Objectives: Primary objective: To estimate the prevalence of movement disorders in children between 1 month to 18 years of age
