Abstract: PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To compare the efficacy of microneedling with azelaic acid 10 % gel versus microneedling with tranexamic acid 5% gel in the treatment of melasma. SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: 1. To compare the safety of microneedling with azelaic acid 10 % gel versus microneedling with tranexamic acid 5% gel in the treatment of melasma. 2. To assess and compare Melasma Quality of Life (MelasQoL) score at the beginning and at end of the study.
