| dc.description.abstract | Aim and objective: Gestational weight gain (GWG) is a pivotal factor influencing maternal and foetal health. It is calculated by subtracting weight measured in the first antenatal visit from the weight measured in the last visit. Recommendations for GWG in Indian women are not available, leading to reliance on international standards that may not be entirely applicable to the Indian population. The study is carried out to assess the gestational weight gain during pregnancy in women delivering in KLE Dr. Prabhakar Kore charitable Hospital, Belagavi, in normal and different morbidities of pregnancy. | en_US |
