| Abstract: | ABSTRACT Background: Breast cancer a prevalent malignancy among female worldwide also a leading cause of death globally. Breast cancer is developed due to abnormal and unchecked growth of breast cancer epithelial cells driven by combination of multiple factors. Chemotherapy a primary treatment is often limited due to its drawbacks includes systemic toxicity, gastrointestinal disturbances, neuropathy and others. Further drug resistance remains as a major challenge contributing to failure of treatment and relapse of disease. In recent years nanotechnology is gaining its importance to enhance chemotherapy effectiveness by enhancing drug solubility, tumor targeting capabilities and thereby reducing side effects. Objective: The goal of the project was to develop nanoparticulate drug delivery system of Dasatinib (DTB) loaded Eudragit (EL 100) nanoparticles utilizing full factorial design to address the drawbacks of conventional system. |
