T BACKGROUND: Mosquitoes transmit viruses and parasites, which increase human mortality. Various methods are being adopted to control mosquitoes involving the use of synthetic pesticides with unexpected consequences on both target and non-target organisms. As substitutes for synthetics, natural products with agronomic qualities of biodegradability, low resistance, and those preserving ecological equilibrium are to be preferred. OBJECTIVE: To identify active extracts, isolate pesticidal compounds, and develop sustainable eco-friendly formulations from the extracts of Cleome viscose Linn. and or Artocarpus lakoocha Roxb.en_US
