T Background: Menopause is a demanding phase in a woman’s life, often accompanied by a rise in musculoskeletal concerns and obesity, requiring early and effective intervention. The influence of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Hatha yoga on musculoskeletal health in postmenopausal women remains inadequately studied. While both exercise methods have distinct characteristics, they also share notable differences and similarities. Aims: To assess and compare the effects of 12 weeks of HIIT and yoga interventions on postmenopausal women experiencing central obesity, sarcopenia, dynapenia, and knee misalignment. This article outlines a study protocol to evaluate the outcomes of HIIT and yoga programs for postmenopausal women.en_US
