Abstract: Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, systemic inflammatory disease, primarily affecting joints and other organs. RA, associated with significant morbidity, mortality adds to the total health care burden on the country. RA patients require lifelong medications with routine monitoring of disease activity as well as side effects to medications.
