| Abstract: | Background - Heart diseases in pregnancy have a frequency ranging from 0.9 - 3.7 %. Cardiac disease is an important cause of maternal mortality and morbidity both in antepartum and postpartum period. Hence this study is undertaken in an attempt to scientifically observe the maternal and fetal outcomes among pregnant women with heart diseases. |
