Abstract: Knee injuries are more common in the modern era due to increase in the road traffic accidents and more involvement in sports related activities by young people. Anterior cruciate ligament is the often injured ligament around knee joint. Anterior cruciate ligament has a pivot role in function and stability of the knee joint, being the primary stabilizer preventing the anterior translation of tibia over femur. Arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction has become the gold standard in the management of these injuries.
