Maxillofacial silicone prosthesis when fabricated present with problems within a few months of their use. These problems are related to the properties concerning the mechanics and physicality of the material. This has been the reason for the researches being circling around the development of this material. PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the effect of addition of Titanium Dioxide nanoparticles, Silica Dioxide nanoparticles and Nanocomposite (TiO2/SiO2) on the tensile strength, tear strength and shore hardness of maxillofacial silicone.en_US
